Poetry is expressive, and the type of font you choose for your poems matters almost as much as the actual words. The font you use can influence the way others perceive your poems.

It can set the mood just right so that your readers become immersed in your poems.

But where can you find fonts for your poems?

If you are a poet, Canva is the tool you should be using. It offers plenty of amazing fonts you can use for your poems.

Today, I will be showing you some of the best fonts you can use on Canva when writing poems. Not only that, but all of these fonts are free to use with Canva, so let’s get into it!

Quick Summary

Some of the best fonts on Canva for poems include:

  • Canva Student Font
  • Alex Brush
  • Apricots
  • Mistrully
  • Amsterdam One
  • Daydream

This is just a partial list. For the full list of fonts and when you should consider using each one, continue reading this article!

26 Best Fonts for Poem on Canva

1. Canva Student Font

The Canva Student Font is a delightful font for writing poems. It is designed to mimic handwriting.

It’s legible and easy to read. At the same time, it adds a flair to your writing.

It’s great for students who are writing poems for school, but it’s not limited to students – you can use it for any purpose, whether you are a student or not!

2. Alex Brush

If you’re looking to mimic the strokes of a brush, the Alex Brush font is a good font to use for your poems.

Despite being very flowery and flowing, it has short ascenders and descenders. That makes it easy to read.

Still, I find it best to use this font with a large font size. If you are writing a lot of words, and you will be using a smaller font size, this typeface becomes harder to read, since all of the letters are connected, similar to writing in cursive.

Overall, though, it’s a beautiful, delightful font to use.

3. Apricots

The Apricots font on Canva is the perfect blend of a throwback, cursive-style script and modernity.

It is designed to mimic handwriting but has a certain boldness to it that makes your poetry stand out and pop out from the screen.

There is also a touch of rebelliousness in this font. If your poetry would fit well with that, it’s a great font with which to write your poems on Canva.

4. Mistrully

Mistrully is a brush-style font that has thin strokes. It gives off a feeling of retreating into oneself, with an aura of self-reflection and humility.

It’s perfect for poems that reflect on life. It has just the right touch of shyness to it, allowing for philosophical expressions and flowery thoughts.

Its thin strokes also make it perfectly legible, so you won’t face legibility issues on small devices.

5. Amsterdam Three

Amsterdam Three is somewhat of a chaotic typeface. It’s a great font for poems that have a lamenting style to them.

Nevertheless, its bold strokes make it easy to read. It’s poetic, but not too flowery, increasing legibility and reducing strain on the eyes.

This cursive font is also great for quotes.

6. Amsterdam One

Amsterdam One, on the other hand, is a nice and flowery font. It has large, long strokes, but they don’t decrease legibility in any significant way.

You will notice the extra large strokes on the capital S and T, for example. It adds a slightly fun vibe to the font, making it great for more casual poems that are not too serious or heavy on the mind.

If you are writing a cute, fun poem, such as a love poem, it is the perfect choice.

7. Daydream

Daydream is a dreamy kind of font, perfect for dreamy, thought-invoking poems. If you want your poem to whisk someone away from reality and into another world, this is a great font to use, as it sets just the right background for it.

Although it’s a cursive font meant to mimic handwriting, every letter is clearly defined, making it an extremely legible font. It has flowery strokes and a beautiful look overall.

8. Pinyon

The Pinyon typeface is an incredibly neat font. It’s nice and orderly and perfect for poems that don’t end with open-ended questions, leaving the reader hanging, but rather provide a certain sense of clarity and feelings of security.

It’s a confident script. It’s bold in its assertiveness, with easy-to-read letters.

All in all, it’s a great font for poems that aim to make a statement.

9. Meow Script

The Meow Script on Canva is a fun script to use. It is quite a romantic script as well, making it a perfect choice for love poems and any poetry that has anything to do with romance.

It’s an overall simple script, though, and not too flowery. It doesn’t overdo it, avoiding an overly expressive style.

The Meow Script offers legibility, boldness, romanticism, and simplicity.

10. Twister

The Twister font on Canva has a fun, whimsical, and playful vibe. It’s not a super serious typeface but a lighthearted one, allowing you to express childish and delightful thoughts in your verses.

Twister is a good font to use if you want to express yourself. It’s great for cheery poems that light up people’s day and give them motivation.

11. Shadow Script

Shadow Script is a quiet, unassuming font. It has flowery, expressive strokes but in a subdued way.

It’s a great typeface to use for thoughtful, emotion-provoking poetry. If you want to draw your readers in and bring out certain feelings, the Shadow Script font on Canva is a great option for you.

Shadow Script has a bit of a mysterious side to it. If your poetry conveys hidden meaning in its verses, or if you want to bring out a sort of magical vibe, you can’t go wrong with Shadow Script.

12. Playlist Script

The Playlist Script font on Canva is bold and expressive. It has happy undertones and is orderly in its strokes, providing a sense of calmness and security.

It’s great for poetry that sets a scene of calmness, trust, and safety. Due to its boldness, it’s also very legible, which makes it a very versatile font.

13. Schoolbell

The Schoolbell font is a mild-mannered font. It’s simple and playful, with a childish feel to it.

It’s great for kids’ poetry, but it’s also great for poetry that lets us escape the toils of adulthood and go back to a time when we were innocent. If you are writing poetry about kids, it’s a great font to use as well.

Instead of a flowery script, Schoolbell opts for a simpler typeface. It almost looks like it was drawn by a child, but it has neat letters that blend smoothly together to provide a legible script.

If what you’re aiming for in your poems is simplicity, you can’t go wrong with Schoolbell.

14. Le Petit Cochon

Le Petit Cochon is not for poets who want to keep a low-profile. It’s bold and loudly announces its presence, screaming your verses to the high heavens.

It makes it look like you wrote your poems with a marker. It’s great for cheerful, happy poems but not as suitable for poems that take a more philosophical, subdued approach.

If you’re happy and you know it, Le Petit Cochon is a great font to use.

15. Moontime

Moontime has somewhat dark tones, but not in a bad way. If your poetry is dark and philosophical – something that would make you sit at night and stare at the stars and moon while you think – Moontime is an awesome font.

Despite that, it’s not bold or angry. It’s quiet and keeps to itself, with thin strokes that don’t seek to make a commotion.

16. Over the Rainbow

Over the Rainbow is bold and large. It seeks to establish a colorful, happy vibe that carries you off into the clouds.

It makes a statement, and it creates an overall sense of tranquility and contentment. Overall, it’s a delightful little font for cheerful, playful poems.

17. Symphony

Symphony is like a distinguished gentleman. It is elegant in its appearance, with neat letters that blend together, with no chaos or disorder.

Symphony is a good font to use if your poems seek to create a sense of order and contentment in people’s hearts and minds. It seeks to provide grounding and give a sense of meaning to the world, allowing us to make sense of what goes on around us.

18. Lavonia Classy

Lavonia Classy is a class, distinguished, and elegant typeface. It’s bold but surprisingly simple, with a hint of funkiness.

Inspired by classic handwriting styles, this modern font is great for poems of all types, especially those that have a modern style of poetry.

19. Malibu

Malibu is a modern calligraphic font with large strokes and wide letters. It’s very legible and allows you to express yourself in many ways.

It’s great for all types of poems of all genres and styles. It’s a great backup font to default to when you aren’t sure which font to use, as it allows you to play it safe in any kind of situation.

20. Callem

The Callem font on Canva is a modern calligraphic font based on handwriting in cursive. It’s quiet yet expressive, silently reserving a place for itself amidst the surrounding noise of this chaotic world.

Its flowery strokes will make your writing look beautiful. It’s great for poets writing in all genres and styles of poetry.

21. Jimmy Script

Jimmy Script is a font on Canva that was inspired by vintage trends in the design industry. It has thin strokes yet is bold in a certain way, allowing you to express yourself without fear or apprehension of what others would think of you.

Letters are neatly arranged, portraying a sense of clarity of mind in your writing.

22. Slight

Slight is a full-featured font. It is elegant and wildly expressive, with large and long strokes that are bound to catch anyone’s attention.

Slight isn’t shy in the slightest sense of the word. It loves to express itself and get attention.

The Slight font on Canva is great if you want to write in a flowery manner and without inhibiting your expression in any way.

23. Signature

Signature is a font on Canva that is designed to mimic a standard signature handwriting style. However, it’s also great for poetry.

It’s a low-key, quiet font that seems to have a lot hidden under the surface. It’s kind of like that quiet guy you see at a bar who doesn’t talk much, but if you start talking to him, you’ll find that he has a lot of stories.

It allows you to be expressive in a somewhat secretive manner, as if there’s more to your poetry than meets the eye.

24. Charm

Charm is a font that is meant to charm and bedazzle you. It’s incredibly beautiful and sophisticated, with elegant strokes and a classy look.

The Charm typeface is very legible, so you won’t be forcing anyone to strain their eyes to read your poetry. With bold, expressive letters and a neat style, Charm is a pleasure to read and easy on the eyes.

25. Bellaboo

Bellaboo is a playful and witty typeface, with easy-to-read characters and a joyful outlook. It has simple yet lighthearted letters, giving off cheeky and humorous vibes.

The Bellaboo font on Canva can be used for cheerful and happy poetry. If you write upbeat verses with a positive outlook on life, try using Bellaboo to keep your readers engaged.

26. Dr Sugiyama

The Dr Sugiyama font has quite an interesting name. It has thick, bold letters, as if you were writing with a marker.

Nevertheless, the font is beautiful, with distinct strokes and an overall bold style. It’s flamboyant and edgy but not overtly so, allowing you to authentically express yourself.

Wrapping It Up: The Best Fonts on Canva for Poems

Poetry is just as much a reflection of its author as it is of the reader and the way the reader interprets it.

Similarly, the font you use conveys what mood you’re in when writing your poems. Whether you are feeling dark and mysterious, happy and cheerful, thoughtful and yearning, the font will express your feelings as much as your words.

I recommend playing around with a few different fonts. See how your poetry looks in different font styles and take it from there.

Two weeks have gone by since that interview for your dream job, and you now have butterflies in your stomach. You have been left hanging, without any response from the hiring manager regarding their decision.

Has your resume been discarded? Have they gone with a different candidate? Or, are they still going through the hiring and interviewing process, and they haven’t yet settled on a candidate?

If you don’t know whether to give up hope and apply to another job or continue waiting for a response, sending a followup email is a good idea. It can give you peace of mind and clarity regarding whether you can expect to get the role or not.

Quick Summary

Sending an email two weeks after an interview will help ease your anxiety, give you clarity, and keep you in the interviewer’s thoughts.

Here are some must-have tips for writing a followup email two weeks after an interview:

  • Craft a good subject line
  • Start with a professional greeting
  • Introduce yourself and provide background context
  • Reiterate your interest
  • Ask a clear followup question
  • Close with a professional signature
  • Proofread before sending
  • Don’t use ChatGPT – be original

For more in-depth advice, and to see examples of what you can write in your followup email, continue reading! We’ve laid it all out for you.

Why You Should Follow Up at the Two-Week Mark?

Why should you follow up after your interview? And, more importantly, why is two weeks a good time to follow up?

Two weeks is the ideal time to follow up after an interview. One week is a bit too early.

At the one-week mark, the hiring manager is probably still interviewing other candidates. At two weeks, they are likely wrapping up the hiring process, reviewing which candidates they are shortlisting, and taking into account considerations such as interview performance and professional background.

While the hiring process can, of course, stretch out longer than two weeks, there is a certain risk in waiting too long to follow up. If you wait too long, the hiring manager might have already interviewed many other candidates, and they may not completely remember you.

At two weeks, on the other hand, you are still somewhat fresh in the interviewer’s mind. At the same time, they had a chance to interview other candidates.

If you are truly qualified for the job, chances are that the hiring manager interviewed quite a few weaker candidates than you in the meantime. They get a chance to compare others to you and discover that you are a good choice.

A quick followup can help refresh the hiring manager’s memory and give them an opportunity to think about you again. They may realize that you were one of the better candidates and send you an offer.

Tips for Sending a Followup Email at Two Weeks

Use the Right Subject Line

A good subject line will stand out and catch the recruiter’s attention. Remember, the recruiter likely has a swamped inbox.

If you don’t stand out, they may not even look at your email or open it. While you don’t want to use anything that sounds too flashy or clickbaity, you do want an interesting subject line that is relevant to the purpose of the email.

Some examples may include:

  • Following up my interview ([Name])
  • Post-interview clarification
  • Thank you for your time
  • Regarding our meeting
  • Following up regarding [job position]

Start With a Professional Greeting

Always start your emails with a professional greeting. A professional greeting is the right way to start any email you send to a hiring manager.

Some examples of greetings that are not appropriate include:

  • Hey
  • Yo
  • What’s up?
  • What’s good?
  • Morning
  • What’s popping?

You get the gist. Anything that involves slang or is a non-formal greeting should not be used.
“Morning” is also not a good choice since it’s not a complete greeting but rather a shortened greeting used in everyday speech, which isn’t really suitable for formal writing.

Examples of good greetings include:

  • Dear [Hiring Manager Name]
  • Good morning [Hiring Manager Name]
  • Hello [Hiring Manager Name]

These are complete greetings. They also include the hiring manager’s name.

To keep it professional, it’s best not to use the hiring manager’s first name. Instead, use their last name with a professional salutation, such as:

  • Mr. Jones
  • Ms. Pinkman
  • Mrs. Shieldman

That keeps things formal and professional. Using their first name can seem like a sign of disrespect, especially if you are applying for an entry-level or junior position and don’t have much or any experience to speak of just yet.

Introduce Yourself

Once you’ve gotten the greeting out of the way, it’s time to start with a brief introduction. The interviewer might be going through their inbox very quickly.

If they’re just starting their day and perusing their emails while drinking their morning coffee, they might not be paying a lot of attention to every single email.

Instead, they might be quickly looking through their inbox, paying attention to the things that catch their eye and which they deem important, and trashing the rest.

Remember, too, that the interviewer has a lot of things on their mind and may have already interviewed another dozen or two candidates. They may have even interviewed candidates for other roles, if the company is hiring for several roles!

That’s why it’s important to introduce yourself with some background context. In the opening of your email, after the introduction, introduce yourself and remind the interviewer which role you were applying for.

You should also mention the date or day the interview took place to jog the hiring manager’s memory. Here is an example of what I am talking about:

“My name is Bob MacDonald, and I interviewed for the position of Junior QA Analyst approximately two weeks ago on Monday morning.”

And here is another example:

“This is Joe McJagger. You may recall our interview two weeks ago, during which we discussed my eligibility for the position of senior project manager.”

Mention Your Continued Interest

Next, make sure to mention that you are still interested in the position. Reiterate your enthusiasm for the role and your interest in the company.

Mention any motivation or inspiration you might have that caused you to apply for this role or this company in particular. If there was something you left out during your interview, now is a good time to put it in your email, but don’t make it too lengthy!

Here are some examples:

“I’d like to confirm my sincere interest in the position. I continue to believe that this role fits my skills and goals perfectly, and I believe I would be a perfect match for the company culture.”

“I’m still very much interested in the position. I would love to become a part of your team.”

“I’d like to express my enthusiasm for this role. I am excited at the thought of working here.”

Ask the Question

Once you have greeted the hiring manager, introduced yourself with some background, and reiterated your interest in the position, it’s time to ask the dreaded question. After all, that’s why you are really sending the email: You want to know if you are still being considered for the role.

Ask the question gently, without coming across as too pushy. Here are a few good examples of how you might phrase this question:

“Have you completed the hiring process?”

“Am I still being considered for this role?”

“What are the next steps in the hiring process?”

“Do you have an estimated time for your final decision?”

“Have you made a final hiring decision yet?”

Express Appreciation or Thanks

Before you finish your email, it’s good practice to express your appreciation and thank the interviewer for the opportunity. Don’t overdo it, but show that you are appreciative of the hiring manager’s time.

Here are some examples of things you can write:

“I also want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to interview with you.”

“Regardless of your final decision, it was an honor to meet you and to be considered for the role.”

“It was a pleasure meeting you and being given this opportunity.”

“I highly appreciate you taking the time to read and respond to this email.”

“Thank you for the interview and for your time; it’s been a great honor and a pleasure.”

End With a Professional Signature

Finally, end with a professional sign-off. You should close off with your name and email signature.

Ideally, your email signature should contain your contact details. That can include your email address, LinkedIn profile, or phone number.

It just makes it a bit easier for the hiring manager to get back to you.

For example, if your phone number is in the signature, the hiring manager can easily give you a quick call to update you regarding the process.

On the other hand, if the hiring manager needs to search through the company’s database to find your number, it might seem like too much work, and they may push it off and never get around to it.

Of course, they could always respond to your email directly, but in some cases, there might be things that are better off discussed over the phone.

So, how should you end your email? Here are some ideas:

  • Sincerely, [Name]
  • Yours truly, [Name]
  • Kind regards, [Name]
  • Regards, [Name]
  • Warm regards, [Name]

These are all acceptable sign-offs. By the way, it’s good practice to include your full name and not just your first name or only your last name.

It’s very possible that the company interviewed two people with the same first name. Similarly, it’s possible that they interviewed two Mr. Smiths.

Including both your first and last name will also make it easier for the hiring manager to remember you.

Here are some unacceptable sign-offs:

  • Goodbye
  • Peace
  • Over and out
  • Bye
  • See ya

Proofread Before Sending

Always proofread your email twice before you send it! A small spelling mistake or grammatical error might not seem like a big deal to you, but it can influence the hiring manager’s perception of you.

So, take the time to proofread your email. If you want, you can give it to a friend to proofread as well.

Often, we don’t notice mistakes in our own writing. We know what we intended to write, so when we read it over, our brains register what we intended to write rather than the mistake that was actually written.

By speaking every word out loud, it will be easier to detect errors.

Another good idea is to run your email through Grammarly or LanguageTool before sending it. These two grammar checking tools also offer Chrome extensions that allow you to check your writing within Gmail or anywhere else in your browser.

Don’t Use ChatGPT

I’d like to end with a caution about using ChatGPT to write your followup emails. Although many people do it, as it’s becoming increasingly common to use ChatGPT as a sort of virtual assistant, I don’t recommend it.

It’s always better to be original and to create original work. That will help you stand out.

The reason for that is that although you may not notice the difference, ChatGPT tends to output emails, lists, and content that often follows a very similar pattern or template. The hiring manager has probably seen dozens, if not hundreds, of emails.

The emails that were written by ChatGPT are very obvious as such. They generally follow the same structure and sometimes even look identical.

Trust me, you’re not doing yourself any favors by using ChatGPT. It might save you a few minutes, but it’s worth taking the time and putting in a little effort if you really value the job opportunity.

Using ChatGPT can cause the hiring manager to feel that you’re lazy and don’t want to put in the work. It shows that you prefer to take shortcuts rather than put in effort and use critical thinking to offer something unique.

That’s certainly not a quality that hiring managers are looking for.

That’s not to say that ChatGPT has no utility at all. There are ways to use ChatGPT, but mostly to help you brainstorm and generate ideas.

However, don’t use it to write your followup emails. It will be very obvious, and it will do you more harm than good.

Conclusion

It’s often a good idea to follow up with a hiring manager around two weeks after an interview. There are several benefits of doing so.

On the one hand, it will give you peace of mind and clarity. If you’re nervously awaiting a call, you can avoid the anxiety by getting a clear no.

It’s better to know that you weren’t selected than to not know and sit there wondering. It will allow you to redirect your mental focus and shift your energy to applying for other jobs.

At the same time, it can help keep you in the hiring manager’s mind if they have not yet decided on a candidate. Not every hiring manager is super organized, and a quick email often does a lot of good to jog their memory.

Are you looking for an alternative to Mango Display?

Mango Display is an app that allows you to turn any device into a digital display.

You can display the time, weather forecast, quotes, and more.

However, Mango Display is known for being a bit buggy. It doesn’t work well on all devices and sometimes formats incorrectly to the screen.

Furthermore, while Mango Display offers a free plan, it is quite limited. It doesn’t even offer a calendar, which is one of the main things people use digital displays for.

If you are looking for a Mango Display alternative, read on!

Quick Summary

The best Mango Display alternatives are:

  1. DAKboard
  2. Skylight Calendar
  3. Matter of Fractions
  4. Cozyla Calendar
  5. Cozi
  6. Hearth Display
  7. Amazon Echo Show 15
  8. Amazon Echo Show 8

Read on to learn more about them.

Best Mango Display Alternatives

1. DAKboard

DAKboard is a digital wall calendar, available on any device, that allows you to display customizable calendars, events, appointments, and more. It syncs with calendars such as Google Calendar to automatically load your appointments and reminders.

It offers a wider range of supported device options than Mango Display.

Like Mango Display, you can use it on any tablet, laptop, or Raspberry Pi. However, if you want, you can also order a Mango CPU, which you can attach to any TV or monitor to turn it into a digital wall calendar.

Alternatively, you can buy Mango Display on an SD card, which you can use with your Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi.

Yet another option is purchasing a DAKboard digital wall monitor from DAKboard. That will allow you to have a dedicated wall display.

It can also serve as a digital photo album. You can sync your photos from Google Photos and other cloud hosting providers and display photo slides when you are not using your calendar.

Your display can be set up to show motivational quotes, the weather forecast, stock prices, and more!

Another reason I prefer DAKboard over Mango Display is that its free plan gives you more of what you need.

Mango Display’s free plan doesn’t even offer a calendar. DAKboard’s free plan, on the other hand, includes calendars on up to two devices.

If you opt for a paid plan, you will find that DAKboard’s paid plans are more versatile and customizable compared to Mango Display, with more to offer. For example, DAKboard allows for custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to customize your display with your own rules.

DAKboard also integrates with more third-party apps and services. For example, for your photo albums, it integrates with Flickr, Dropbox, Box, and others, while Mango Display only integrates with Google Photos and Apple Photos.

Furthermore, it has useful features like screen loops. Screen loops allow you to loop between different setups on the same device, one after the other.

DAKboard isn’t just for the home, though. You can use it in your school, office meeting room, church, or anywhere else.

You can use a TV of any size to display things such as a restaurant menu. All you need is the DAKboard CPU, which comes with the DAKboard operating system built in, and connect your TV to the CPU.

2. Skylight Calendar

The Skylight Calendar is a digital device on which you can display a calendar, to-do list, and more. It’s great for family planning.

For example, you can sync events and appointments from multiple personal calendars so everyone in the family can track their tasks. People can also add events from the Skylight mobile app when new appointments come up.

Chores are made easy with Skylight. You can create chores for your kids, which they can check off one by one.

Events and chores are color coded so everyone in the family can easily find their events, appointments, and tasks.

Compared to Mango Display, it doesn’t have so many bugs and glitches. It comes on a dedicated device, too, which means it works seamlessly, and you won’t have to worry about the formatting not coming out right on your device like you would with Mango.

There are two small options: a 10-inch calendar and a 15-inch calendar. There is also one large option called Skylight Calendar Max, which is 27 inches wide.

The good thing about buying a Skylight Calendar is that once you pay the one-time fee for the device, you can use it for free, without paying a monthly subscription.

So, while the initial cost will be more than Mango Display, over the long run, it can be cheaper compared to signing up for one of Mango Display’s premium plans.

There is an optional premium subscription called Plus. It gives you perks such as the ability to turn your calendar into a photo screensaver.

It also gives you access to a tool called Magic Import.

Magic Import is an AI tool that allows you to forward emails or send PDFs to a special email address to automatically import school events and other events from PDFs or email reminders.

3. Matter of Fractions

Matter of Fractions offers several incredibly beautiful digital displays. They come with wooden outer frames in several styles, adding both a touch of modernity and a vintage feel to your home.

It utilizes the DAKboard operating system, which I have already discussed. As I mentioned, DAKboard offers a free plan that gives you a free calendar, while Mango Display’s free plan doesn’t.

DAKboard is built into these Matter of Fraction frames. They all come with a valid DAKboard license.

If you aren’t satisfied with having a simple tablet with Mango Display on it, and you want your home to look more stylish, consider investing in a Matter of Fractions display.

4. Cozyla Calendar

The Cozyla Calendar is a digital photo frame that works over Wi-Fi. It comes in black and white and two sizes: 32 inches and 22 inches.

While a bit pricey, it works flawlessly. Plus, once you buy it, there are no subscription fees.

You get access to all of the amazing features it has to offer out of the box!

It integrates with various calendar apps to sync your existing appointments and events.

You can use it as a family planner. By assigning a unique color to everyone in the family, you can ensure everyone can stay on top of their tasks.

It comes with an ergonomic wall mount that allows you to seamlessly switch between portrait and landscape mode.

It’s not just a calendar, though. You can display a weather forecast, news, and more.

The Cozyla Calendar even allows you to stream music! That’s a feature you won’t get from Mango Display.

You can connect your Spotify account to stream your favorite playlists. And, with Google Assistant, you can control the display with voice commands.

If you want to listen to your playlist while cleaning, and your hands are wet or dirty from washing dishes, you can just issue a voice command to launch your playlist or podcast.

Another good reason to choose the Cozyla Calendar over Mango Display is that it can be used as a smart home hub. You can connect it to your smart devices to control them.

In fact, the Cozyla Calendar is a complete Android operating system. You can use apps like Facebook, YouTube, and any other Android app!

You can watch Netflix or even make video calls on Zoom (although you will need to buy a Cozyla webcam separately).

With HDMI and USB ports, you can also hook up the Cozyla Calendar to your TV monitor and cast your Netflix shows, for example. Wireless casting is supported as well.

You can also use the Cozyla Calendar as an alarm clock or timer. If you need to take your meds at 4 pm, for example, and you don’t want to forget, just set a timer for it.

The Cozyla Calendar comes with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

5. Cozi

Cozi (no relation to Cozyla) is a family calendar and planning app. It can be installed on any mobile device, allowing your family to share events, grocery lists, chores, and more.

Color coding helps differentiate which events belong to which people. Daily digests help you prepare for the day by giving you an overview of what needs to be done that day.

Meal planning is easy as well. You can store recipes online and plan meals for the entire week and then assign shopping lists so that you have all the ingredients you need.

You can also create to-do lists, so you don’t forget a single task or chore.

If you’re looking for a family planner that everyone can use on their own devices, it’s a much better option than Mango Display.

6. Hearth Display

The Hearth Display is a digital wall calendar packed with features. It comes on a dedicated display, which means you have to buy the hardware from Hearth Display.

However, once you have the hardware, you can use the device for free, without paying for a monthly membership (the membership is optional).

You can still display a shared family calendar and sync events from Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple iCal on the free plan. You can also set up unlimited profiles for family members.

The Family Plan adds perks like dynamic routines that allow you to get things done on a daily basis in a timely manner.

It also adds an SMS AI assistant that allows you to add events by sending them to a number via text message. All you have to do is take a picture of a flyer or notice that your kids received from school, for example, and the AI will convert it to an event in the calendar.

Another perk of the Family Plan is a weather widget that displays the weather forecast. However, if you only need a calendar with events and appointments, you don’t need the Family Plan.

Since the device is made by Hearth Display, you can expect a bug-free experience, unlike with Mango Display. It formats well and offers a smooth interface.

You can add to-dos in a kanban-style board for different family members. Family members can view their tasks and chores and check them off, one by one.

Hearth Display is also working on companion mobile apps that will allow you to view your calendar and to-do lists from your phone, on the go, even when you are not at home.

7. Amazon Echo Show 15

Echo Show 15 | Full HD 15.6" smart display with Alexa and Fire TV built in | Remote included

Check Price on Amazon

The Echo Show 15, created by Amazon, is a smart display by Amazon. You have to buy the hardware from Amazon, but there are no monthly fees associated with it.

It also offers a lot more than Mango Display does. This 15.6-inch display, to start with, offers the usual you might expect from a wall display.

You can add shared calendars for the family and write to-do notes and even personal sticky notes.

However, it also connects to the internet. Since it’s made by Amazon, it has Amazon Alexa built in.

You can ask Alexa to find you recipe ideas and even generate shopping lists for you. It’s not just a wall display, though; it can double as a TV.

You can stream Netflix, Disney+, and other platforms like Tubi TV, which is a popular platform for free TV shows and movies. Fire TV is built into this device.

You can control it with the Amazon Voice Remote, which allows you to speak to Alexa from a distance.

You can also use it as a digital photo frame, displaying a slideshow from Amazon Photos. There are tons of widgets you can add to the home screen, and if you’re not sure which ones you can add, you can ask Alexa which ones are available.

Furthermore, it can be used as a Smart Home Hub to control your smart home devices with Alexa.

8. Amazon Echo Show 8

Echo Show 8 (3rd Gen, 2023 release) | With Spatial Audio, Smart Home Hub, and Alexa | Charcoal

Check Price on Amazon

The Echo Show 15 is a wall-mounted display, but what if you are looking for an alternative to Mango Display that you can use as a tabletop display?

The Echo Show 8 from Amazon is a smaller device that comes with a built-in stand. Its adaptive content allows you to view your calendar from afar, adapting the size of the content to the distance, with more details shown when you are closer.

You can add to-do reminders and more. It comes with spatial audio, so it also doubles as a speaker.

You can use it to stream Spotify, for example. It can be used to control your smart home devices as well.

Generally, it offers a lot more functionality than Mango Display and only involves an affordable one-time fee (unless you want to pay for premium services like Netflix).

Conclusion

When deciding on a Mango Display alternative, it’s important to consider what your needs are. Are you looking for a dedicated wall display?

In that case, the Amazon Echo Show 15, Cozyla Calendar, or Hearth Display might be a good choice.

Or, are you looking to turn your existing device into a display? In that case, DAKboard might be a good choice.

Meanwhile, if you are simply looking for a family planning calendar app, Cozi is an excellent alternative to Mango Display.

1. Samsung 55-inch Class Crystal UHD TU8300 Series

SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Crystal UHD TU8300 Series - 4K UHD Curved Smart TV With Alexa Built-in (UN55TU8300FXZA)

The Samsung TV TU8300 is a beauty to behold. Its beautiful curved screen not only looks elegant but also enhances the viewing experience.

It offers a 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) resolution. It also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) colors, allowing you to enjoy bright, vivid colors when watching YouTube TV.

Thanks to the Samsung Crystal 4K processor, you can enjoy a fast, lag-free experience.

It supports YouTube TV and other apps. Just click on “Apps,” search for YouTube TV, download it, and sign in.

One cool thing about the Samsung TU8300 is that it also allows you to mirror your computer screen. That means that you can access Office 365 and important documents, for example, right on your TV screen.

It comes with an HDMI cable, but you don’t need this cable to connect the TV to your computer, since you can do that wirelessly.

Of course, you can also mirror your phone. You can just tap your phone to the TV screen to mirror it.

Another really cool thing is that the TV has a mode called Ambient Mode+. It mirrors the decor and background behind the TV, making the TV blend into your wall when not in use.

For example, if the TV is mounted on a gray wall, it will show a gray display. Not only that, but on top of the gray background, it can display precious family photos, making it look almost like a large photo frame, blending seamlessly into the environment.

If you’re a gamer, you have even more reasons to love this Samsung Smart TV. Auto Game Mode optimizes your TV’s settings to avoid lagging, even while playing high-performance games.

In addition to the handy remote, this TV also integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Bixby. That allows you to issue voice commands to start streaming YouTube TV, for example, or any other app.

2. Insignia 24-inch Class F20 Series Smart HD 720p Fire TV

INSIGNIA 24-inch Class F20 Series Smart HD 720p Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote (NS-24F201NA23, 2022 Model)

If you’re looking for an affordable smart TV for less than a hundred bucks that can play YouTube TV, try this Insignia 24-inch F20 Series TV. It is highly rated on Amazon with over 19,000 ratings.

It only offers a 720p resolution, so if you’re looking for 4K or even 1080p video quality, it’s probably not the right TV for you. But, if you’re on a budget and just need a simple TV for watching YouTube TV, your search can end here.

With a refresh rate of 60Ghz, it offers excellent value for money. It runs on Fire TV.

To find YouTube TV, just search for the YouTube TV app and download it.

Since it runs on Fire TV, which is an operating system created by Amazon, it supports Amazon Alexa out of the box.

That means that you can easily launch YouTube TV and search for content by issuing voice commands, allowing for a more seamless experience. Amazon Alexa is supported via the voice remote.

On the remote, just press the Alexa button and start speaking. There’s no need to fiddle around with buttons if you can get things done more efficiently with your voice.

It also integrates with Apple AirPlay. That allows you to send music, pictures, and videos from your iPhone directly to your Fire TV.

3. TCL 32-inch 3-Series 720p Roku Smart TV

The TCL 3-Series 720p Roku Smart TV is a nice mid-range choice for those on a medium budget. It offers a 720p high definition resolution.

It works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Roku app to allow for easier controls.

To find YouTube TV on a Roku, head to the Streaming Channels section. Then, click on the “Search Channels” option and enter “YouTube TV” into the search bar to search for and download YouTube TV.

While Roku TVs offer over 350 channels for free, including YouTube, YouTube TV is not one of them. YouTube TV always requires a separate subscription.

4. Westinghouse Roku TV – 24-inch Smart TV

Another great Roku TV is the Westinghouse brand of Roku TVs.

Note that if 24 inches is too small for you, Westinghouse has a 32-inch version as well, which comes in both standard and edgeless versions. You can switch between the different versions from the same Amazon page before you buy.

The Westinghouse Roku TV is compatible with Siri, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. Not only that, but it supports Apple HomeKit, allowing you to connect compatible smart home devices.

You can also cast photos and videos from your smartphone or tablet directly to your TV, allowing you to display your family photos and relive precious memories.

The Roku Mobile App provides a digital remote control that you can use on your phone. The Roku app also allows for private listening from the TV via your phone, allowing you to watch and enjoy even if others need some silence or privacy in the house.

5. LG 73 Series 65-inch 4K Smart UHD TV

Do you need an extra large TV? If smaller TVs just won’t cut it, check out the LG 73 series 65-inch smart TV with a 4K UHD resolution.

Due to its quad-core processor, it offers a smooth and enjoyable experience with excellent graphics. For an even more seamless experience, it offers Auto Low Latency Mode, which automatically adjusts your TV to a low latency mode when experiencing lags to reduce lags.

Not only that, but with active HDR, it supports many formats for scene-by-scene picture adjustments.

The TV also supports surround sound for an immersive experience.

Like other LG smart TVs, it runs on webOS, which is LG’s proprietary smart TV operating system.

To stream YouTube TV, head to the LG Content Store on your TV. There, you can search for and download YouTube TV.

It has a total of three HDMI ports, two USB ports, one Ethernet port, one digital audio output port, and one composite AV input.

6. Samsung 32-inch Class LED Smart FHD TV 1080p

Samsung is a major player in the smart TV market for a reason: its TVs are always high quality. This 32-inch smart TV offers a high definition 1080p resolution.

It features an LCD screen and a refresh rate of 60Ghz, which, combined, provide excellent graphics and a smooth streaming experience.

Another helpful feature is the Micro Dimming Pro feature, which offers a better contrast for a more realistic viewing experience. Meanwhile, the OLED glare-free technology helps reduce those annoying glares that interfere with your movie nights.

Despite its affordable price, perfect for people with a medium budget, this TV is a powerhouse. It runs on a powerful quad-core processor, allowing for smooth watching without lags.

You can easily download and watch YouTube TV.

7. Amazon Fire TV 32-inch 2-Series HD Smart TV

Check Price on Amazon

If you’re looking for an affordable smart TV that can play YouTube TV on a budget, you can’t go wrong with the Amazon Fire TV, made and sold by Amazon itself.

It is a 32-inch TV.

With a 720p screen resolution, you’re getting good value for your money. And, with Dolby Digital Audio, you can enjoy a truly immersive experience.

Not only can you watch YouTube TV, you can also watch Netflix, Prime Video, and tons of other channels.

A cool perk of buying this TV is that you get a free six-month subscription to MGM+. MGM+ is a cable and satellite television streaming service that gives you access to thousands of movies, shows, and television content.

Amazon TVs are, as expected, compatible with Amazon Alexa. Using the Amazon Alexa Voice Remote, you can easily search for content on YouTube TV and play your favorite shows.

A really cool thing about Amazon Fire TVs is that they sync with each other. That allows you to start watching a show in your living room and then move to your bedroom, where you have another Amazon Fire TV installed, and just continue watching where you left off.

8. Amazon Fire TV 40-inch 2-Series HD Smart TV

Amazon Fire TV 40" 2-Series HD smart TV with Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote, stream live TV without cable

Check Price on Amazon

What if you’d like an Amazon TV for watching YouTube TV, but 720p just won’t do it?

Not only does the 2-Series 40-inch version offer a larger screen, but it also offers 1080p resolution.

As usual, it comes with all the great things Fire TV is known for, including a massive app library and the ability to stream free content from sources such as Tubi, Pluto TV, and Freevee. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa.

9. Amazon Fire TV 75-inch Omni Series 4K UHD Smart TVAmazon Fire TV 75" Omni Series 4K UHD smart TV with Dolby Vision, hands-free with Alexa

Check Price on Amazon

The Amazon Fire TV 2-series focuses on low-cost, budget options for casual viewing. For a truly amazing viewing experience, though, you should consider the Amazon Fire TV Omni Series from Amazon.

This comes in several sizes, but we’ll be focusing on the biggest one: the 75-inch version.

One reason to get this Amazon Fire TV is that not only does it offer 4K resolution, but it goes a step further and offers Dolby Vision on select apps. Dolby Vision improves the highlights and contrast.

It also adds richer, more vibrant colors. Most budget TVs won’t offer Dolby Vision, which is why this TV is more of an option for those with higher budgets due to its cost.

Again, Dolby Vision is not available on all apps. It is available on Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+, but only on certain titles.

You can still play YouTube TV in high definition.

Other than the beautiful graphics, of course, you will benefit from the gigantic screen. At 75 inches, this is one of the largest TVs you can get, making it perfect for watching YouTube TV in your home theater.

Amazon Alexa is supported.

This particular model has built-in microphones, which means you can talk to Alexa directly, without needing to press a button on a remote, allowing for a truly hands-free experience. You can launch YouTube TV while eating chips with salsa without getting the remote dirty!

You can also hold video calls on this TV. However, you will need to buy a compatible webcam so that the other person can see you, since the TV does not have a built-in webcam.

10. Vizio 24-inch D-Series 720p Full-Array LED HD Smart TV SmartCast

VIZIO 24-Inch D-Series 720p Full-Array LED HD Smart TV SmartCast Apple AirPla+B23y 2 and Chromecast, Alexa Compatibility Built-in + Free Wall Mount - D24H-J09 - (No Stands) (Renewed)

Check Price on Amazon

This Vizio D-Series TV is sold refurbished by Amazon Renewed. That means that although it is a used TV, it was professionally inspected by Amazon technicians and tested to ensure it is working properly.

Amazon Renewed products come with a 90-day warranty and 24/7 support. It’s a great way to bag a high-quality device at a low price.

In any case, this Vizio D-Series TV offers a full-array LED screen and 720p resolution.

YouTube TV is preinstalled on Vizio SmartCast devices. All you need to do is head to the SmartCast home screen, scroll through the list of apps, and find YouTube TV.

SmartCast is the platform that powers Vizio smart TVs.

A free wall mount is included with this TV, making it easy to install it on the wall in your living room. Due to its compact size, it also makes for a perfect wall-mounted bedroom TV.

Its IQ Picture Processor helps process pictures and speed up load times for an enriched viewing experience.

In addition to YouTube TV, you can watch hundreds of free channels and live TV with Watchfree+.

This TV also supports Apple AirPlay and Chromecast, allowing you to cast from your mobile device.

Conclusion

Of course, these are not the only models that support YouTube TV. In fact, any modern smart TV should support YouTube TV, whether it is running Android, webOS, or another manufacturer-specific operating system.

However, these models are the highest rated on Amazon. You are welcome to choose the one that best fits your needs and budget.

If you decide to look for a different model, apart from the ones listed on this page, make sure to read reviews from previous customers before buying it.

Good luck!

Are you looking to earn some quick cash for your used car?

If you want to get a car off your hands and earn some extra money in the process, we’ve got you covered.

Alternatively, if you are searching for a car but can’t afford a new one, you’ve come to the right place.

Today, we will be going over the best used car websites in the United States for buying and selling used cars.

Financing is available from most of them, which means you can pay for your used car monthly, if you qualify, instead of all at once!

If you want to sell a car, many of these sites allow you to get an instant offer and cash within days.

Quick Summary

The best used car websites for buying and selling used cars include:

  • Cars.com
  • CarMax
  • CarGurus
  • Autotrader
  • eBay Motors
  • AutoTempest

For the full list, continue reading!

1. Cars.com

Cars.com is one of the largest websites for buying and selling used cars in the US market. When searching for cars to buy, simply filter for used or certified cars.

Certified cars can be a bit more expensive, but they’re a surer bet. A certified pre-owned car has been certified by a dealer and thoroughly inspected to ensure that it is working properly.

Certified pre-owned cars also usually come with other perks, such as a free vehicle inspection and an extended vehicle warranty that a regular used car would not have.

Different manufacturers have different certification programs, so the requirements to be certified can vary. Cars.com has a useful chart allowing you to compare certification programs from different car manufacturers.

In any case, Cars.com has tons of vehicles to choose from. There are even pickup trucks and electric vehicles available for sale.

You may be eligible for financing, even on a used car. Cars.com has partnered with several loan providers, such as Capital One, to offer financing to its customers.

Financing depends on the dealer you are purchasing from through Cars.com, as each lender in the Cars.com network has partnerships with specific dealers directly.

You can see if you prequalify before making a loan application without hurting your credit score. Prequalification is easy and takes just a few minutes.

If you want to sell your car, there are two ways to go about it.

The easiest way is to sell directly to a dealer. When you sell to a dealer, you will get an instant offer and complete the sale upon inspection.

You won’t have to deal with potential customers. The dealer will pay you for the car directly.

Another option is creating a listing and selling it on Cars.com yourself. That way, you may have more control over the price, but you will have to deal with customers directly.

Since the dealership is obviously looking to buy low and sell for a higher price, it is likely that you will get a lower price if you sell directly to a dealership. For many people, though, it’s worth it, as you avoid the hassle of dealing with customers.

In either case, when you submit your car’s details to Cars.com, the site will give you an estimate of how much you can sell your car for to either a dealership or a private customer.

2. CarMax

Another website I love for selling and buying used cars is CarMax. You can purchase used SUVs, sedans, crossovers, pickup trucks, and more.

You can easily estimate which car you can afford by using the simple calculator. It takes inputs such as your credit score, the initial down payment you can afford to make, and how much you can afford to pay in monthly payments (including interest).

You can also see if you prequalify for financing.

CarMax Auto Finance is a tool offered by CarMax that allows you to manage and schedule monthly payments and get billing reminders.

If you want to sell your car, you can get an offer and leave with cash in hand immediately. The offer is valid for seven days, so you have a week to compare your options and decide on whether you want to go with that offer or another one.

You don’t have to buy or trade in a car at CarMax to sell your car, although you can certainly trade in your car for another one if you are interested in upgrading.

You can get an offer online. However, you will have to bring your car to a dealership in person for inspection, to ensure that the car’s condition matches the state you said it was in, for the offer to be valid.

3. CarGurus

Next on my list of favorite sites to shop around for used cars is CarGurus. CarGurus features used cars of all makes and models in your area.

With CarGurus’ new program, you can now purchase cars entirely online from across the country, expanding your reach and allowing you to access the best deals.

You can have a car shipped to you, and there is a seven-day money-back guarantee window in case you are not happy with the car you got.

You can also opt for a certified pre-owned car, which has been inspected to ensure quality.

If you don’t want to pay for the entire car upfront, don’t worry. You can prequalify for financing to see if you are eligible for a loan.

Prequalifying takes just a few minutes and will not affect your credit score. CarGurus works with a network of lenders, such as Capital One and Global Lending Services, to offer prequalification and financing.

If you own a dealership, you can sign up as a dealer on CarGurus and sell your inventory.

4. TrueCar

TrueCar is a website where you can shop for used cars from over 15,000 dealers. On the homepage, you can estimate your buying power by entering your down payment, credit score, and monthly payment into the calculator.

The calculation will be based on an estimated APR (Annual Percentage Rate), which will be based on your credit score. This APR will be shown to you, but keep in mind that APRs can vary depending on factors beyond your credit score alone.

You can also include a trade-in amount in the calculator if you want to trade in an old car.

If you want to sell your car, you can get an instant offer.

Members of the military can benefit from special incentives and discounts on TrueCar.

5. Autotrader

Autotrader is a marketplace where you can buy and sell cars. If you’re in search of a car, you can filter by make, model, and other details.

You can also calculate the price range you can afford to buy a car in by entering details such as your monthly payment and down payment.

If you want to sell a car, you can get an instant offer and walk away with cash in hand. Alternatively, you can trade in your existing car for a new one, with the value of your old car going towards the buying price.

Another option is selling the car yourself, directly to Autotrader buyers. The advantage of going down this route is that you have more control over the price.

However, Autotrader does charge you for placing an ad on the site. It costs $49/month for the ad (price subject to change), and it includes listings on Kelley Blue Book as well.

You also get a free vehicle history report with your listing.

However, the $49/month fee is not all inclusive. Even if you sell directly to a buyer, Autotrader takes a commission, which can be as low as one percent.

All buyers on Autotrader are verified. Their IDs are scanned to confirm their identities to help reduce fraud.

6. Kelley Blue Book

Kelley Blue Book is one of the most well-known car valuation websites. It allows you to check the estimated value of a car, including used cars, based on make, model, mileage, and other details.

However, a lot of people don’t know that it also allows private sellers to sell their used cars to buyers. It has useful filtering tools for buyers, such as the ability to filter by radius, drive, make, model, year, and other filters.

Furthermore, it has a helpful comparison tool that allows buyers to compare two cars.

There are two ways to sell a car on Kelley Blue Book. One option is to sell it to dealers.

If you sell it to a participating dealership, you can get an instant offer on your car. You can then get hard cash or trade your car in for a better one.

Alternatively, you can sell on Kelley Blue Book’s private seller exchange. You can run an ad and reach verified buyers.

7. eBay Motors

Did you know that eBay has an entire section dedicated to vehicles and vehicle parts/accessories?

eBay motors is a great place to find remarkable discounts on used cars, trucks, or motorcycles. It’s also one of the best places to shop if you are looking for collector cars, antiques, exotic vehicles, and even RVs or boats.

Furthermore, you can buy vehicle accessories at excellent prices.

Other than that, it has all of the great stuff eBay usually has to offer. For the best prices, check items that are marked as “or best offer.”

That indicates that the seller is willing to accept a lower offer than the listed price if you are ready to make an immediate sale. If a listing has been sitting for quite a while without any buyer, the seller may very well be willing to accept a lower offer in exchange for quick, hard cash.

However, make sure to check what kind of shipping is offered. Many buyers only offer local pickup.

That way, they can release the vehicle once you give them the cash. It’s also advantageous to you, because you get a chance to inspect the vehicle and perhaps even take it for a test drive (with the owner’s permission) to ensure you are getting what you are paying for.

However, some buyers may offer national shipping. It may come with a fee, but expanding your vehicle search nationally can also allow you to get a better price on your dream vehicle.

eBay Motors has tons of helpful filters. For example, you can filter by year, vehicle type, number of previous owners, body type, and more.

8. Carvana

Carvana is a website where you can find used cars for sale. These cars can be delivered straight to your home, saving you the hassle of finding a dealership in your area.

After all, if you don’t have a car, it might be a bit of a challenge getting to the dealership!

Home deliveries take as little as three days.

All cars are inspected by technicians, but if you don’t like the vehicle after it was delivered to you, you are protected by the seven-day money-back guarantee.

Alternatively, you can opt for pickup at a local Carvana “vending machine.” There are 33 of these vending machines located across the nation.

And yes, these are actual vending machines, just for cars!

The vending machines are large, stacked parking lots of cars.

Once you purchase a car online, you can pick it up at a vending machine. You will get a special token to insert into the machine and watch the automated system take out the car for you.

You can then take possession of the car. Remember, you have seven days to test it out, as you will still be protected by the seven-day money-back guarantee, even if you opt to pick up your vehicle from a vending machine.

You can see a short video demonstrating how these vending machines work here.

Financing is available. You can check if you prequalify in just a few minutes, with no impact on your credit score.

Do you want to sell or trade in your car? You can get an offer within minutes.

9. AutoTempest

Finally, let’s finish things off with AutoTempest as a kind of bonus. AutoTempest doesn’t sell cars itself but rather aggregates information from several used car sites.

It includes results from eBay Motors, Autotrader, TrueCar, Carvana, Cars.com, and other sites we did not mention in this article, like Hemmings.

Your dream car might not be available on a specific site. While you can always search through several sites one after the other, it is a lot more convenient and efficient to use AutoTempest to search through several sites at once.

You can then head to the respective site to purchase the car there directly.

Conclusion

If you’re interested in selling a car, any of the options above are great. Just know what kind of selling experience you want.

eBay Motors, for example, only allows you to sell to buyers directly. Other sites may also offer the option to get an instant cash offer for your car by selling to a dealership.

However, the cash offer might not be to your liking. It’s a good idea to submit your car for sale to several of these sites and compare the offers you get.

If you want to buy a car, all of these sites are awesome as well. Always check a car’s history report and make sure it has been inspected recently before buying it.

Are you looking for a shooting game that you can play on the PS4?

There are plenty of co-op games that you can play with a friend while shooting bad guys, zombies, and enemies.

In this article, I will be showing you the best two player shooting games for the PS4. You can team up with a friend in person and play in split screen mode, or, depending on the game, play together with a friend online.

In a first-person shooting game, you see the world through the eyes of your character, so you don’t see the actual character.

Whereas in third-person shooting games, you control the character, but you can see it as if you were looking over its shoulder.

Here, I will be including both first-person and third-person shooting games. These games all involve shooting and lots of action, so get ready!

Quick Summary

My favorite two-player shooting games for the PS4 include:

  • Hunt: Showdown
  • Call of Duty: Vanguard
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
  • Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance
  • Sniper Elite 5
  • Dead Nation

Read on for the full list of two-player shooting games for the PS4!

Best 2 Player Shooting Games on PS4

1. Hunt: Showdown

In Hunt: Showdown, you can pair up with a friend as two bounty hunters, with the goal of killing mysterious monsters that roam the marshes of Louisiana.

These monsters are controlled both by other players and artificial intelligence. The game can support up to 12 players, who can operate solo or pair up in teams of two or three.

There are three maps where the monsters might be located. To hunt down the monsters, you will need to collect clues.

When you kill monsters, you will be able to earn rewards. With these rewards, you can upgrade your weapons arsenal.

You can also kill other bounty hunters to steal the bounties they have earned from killing monsters. That means that you also have to protect yourself from being killed by other bounty hunters.

When you kill a monster and collect a bounty, you can see where other bounty hunters are located, but other bounty hunters can also see where you are.

The ultimate goal is to survive against these monsters long enough so that you can reach an extraction point.

There are several extraction points. They are located on specific areas of the map.

2. Call of Duty: Vanguard

Call of Duty: Vanguard features a 1v1 player mode, allowing you to play against a friend directly. It is a first-person shooting game that places you at the end of World War II.

Few people have survived this war, and your job is to turn the war around and help the allies win.

From airdropping over France to defending Stalingrad, Call of Duty: Vanguard takes you back in time to a chaotic time in history. It has amazing gun play and game mechanics.

You can even play in Zombies mode, which is an expansion of the Dark Aether storyline in Call of Duty.

In Zombies mode, you have to fight an army of Nazis that came back to life as zombies. The army is led by Oberführer Wolfram Von List, who has the power to bring people back to life.

3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Unlike Call of Duty: Vanguard, which takes place in a historic setting, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare takes place in a modern and realistic setting.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a limited-time game mode that supports 1v1 play with a friend on the Rust map.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, agents from the CIA and the British intelligence agency SAS partner with rebels from the Republic of Urzikstan, which is a fictional place.

The goal is to fight off the Russian army and the Al-Qatala terrorist group, which are taking over the country of Urzikstan.

When you lose in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you are sent to the gulag. There, you can engage in 1v1 gameplay to get a chance to return to the game.

4. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is a game that you can play alone or with a friend on your PS4. You can choose from three characters when you start playing.

Vahn, for example, is an archer. You can shoot arrows, including special types of arrows, such as exploding arrows and arrows made of ice.

Other characters can shoot as well. For example, Adrianna is a sorceress who is able to shoot ice and fire from her fingers.

As a sorceress, she can also cast spells.

In this game, you have to complete quests in the order that they come to you. There are also side quests that you can complete, but they don’t have the same urgency as the main quests.

There are several difficulties in gameplay, but you can only reach the Extreme level after completing the gauntlet. The gauntlet is a special mini dungeon, but you can only unlock the gauntlet after completing the game in one of the easier modes.

When playing with a friend, you can share your same screen in co-op mode. The player who lands the kill in co-op mode gets 60% of the rewards, with the other player getting the rest.

5. Returnal

Returnal is a third-person shooting game. In Returnal, Selene Vassos, who is an astronaut that landed on the mystical planet of Atropos, finds herself stuck on the planet while searching for the White Shadow.

Her spaceship, Helios, has crashed. Her base is no longer contactable.

If you like psychological horror games, you will like Returnal. It’s not for the weak-minded, though.

As a player in Returnal, you control Vassos, your character. You have high-tech weapons, and you have to protect yourself against your enemies’ weapons, which include fireballs, lasers, and all kinds of scary attacks.

You can shoot down your enemy and switch between several shooting and attack modes. With ultra-fast load speeds, you can keep on fighting, even after dying.

If you die from an attack, you will be looped back to the time you crashed. However, your corpse will remain at the point where you died.

So, you will come across corpses of yourself remaining from previous lives. You will also come across old memories when you enter what appears to be a replica of your childhood home.

One of the horrors of the plot is that you learn that your ship was destroyed due to your own fault, as you used an alien weapon to shoot it down. I won’t reveal some of the other details of the storyline, as I don’t want to ruin it for you.

Eventually, the goal of the game is to track down the White Shadow, after which you will be able to reconnect with your base and have a rescue team sent after you to rescue you and bring you back to Earth.

Returnal supports co-op mode, so you can play with a friend. You can even play with a friend over the internet with PS Plus.

6. Sniper Elite 5

In Sniper Elite 5, you find yourself in the year 1944, as a sniper attached to an army battalion. Your task is to snipe the Nazis in Operation Overlord.

You will also sneak your way into enemy territory, making your way through the enemy encampments while ensuring you are not spotted.

It’s one of the best shooting games if you like to see how your bullet penetrates your enemies. This third-party shooting game is a delight to play if you like gory scenes.

If you want to play a sniper, this is the game for you. As you embark on missions, you will be improving your skills.

Each mission could take several hours and is fraught with danger. Don’t let the Nazis see you!

In co-op mode, you can play with a friend. It’s a lot more fun to play with a friend, because your buddy can watch your back and keep an eye out for you.

It’s a lot more scary and dangerous to do it all alone. You can also share ammo with your friend and pool your resources together to make a more deadly and powerful force.

You can also heal each other when you get wounded, making it easier to get back into the action after an injury.

7. Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft. The game takes place on Yara, which is a Caribbean island ruled by a dictator called Anton Castillo.

Anton Castillo is played by actor Giancarlo Esposito, who you may know as the actor who played Gus Fring on Breaking Bad.

When you play, you take on the role of Dani Rojas, a guerrilla fighter who is trying to bring down the regime of the dictator Anton Castillo.

You can traverse the island and the world by foot or by vehicle. There are seven regions within this world, including jungle, terrain, urban areas, and other types of regions.

There are plenty of weapons you can use in this game, including sidearms, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and other weapons. A lot of the fighting takes place in close combat scenarios, which makes it quite fun but also scary.

The game gets harder as you play, with your enemies getting more advanced weapons. That obviously makes it a lot more difficult to fight them.

As a guerrilla fighter, you can build a camp with resources. You can also recruit “amigos” to fight for you.

Your ultimate goal is to completely topple the dictatorship on the island.

8. Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

In Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, you have to defend your tower against an onslaught of zombies.

It is a third-person shooter game. You can play the part of the plants and defend against the zombies.

The zombies are controlled by Dr. Zomboss.

There are 20 customizable player classes to choose from in total. Each victory earns you rewards.

You can team up with your friend either in person or online. You can play against others online or brave it out in the chaotic Battle Arena.

9. Broforce

Broforce is a chaotic shooting game for the PS4. The Broforce is a paramilitary organization consisting of “bros” and known for its use of excessive force.

The “bros” fight off terrorists and rescue prisoners of war that were taken by terrorists. The ultimate goal is to defeat the final boss, hoist the American flag on enemy territory, and escape with a helicopter amidst the destruction.

The head of the Broforce is Nelson Brodela, a parody of Nelson Mandela. Broforce characters are based on fictional characters such as Chuck Norris, John Rambo, and the Terminator T-800.

There is the Rambro and the Brominator, for example.

When you start the game, you can’t choose which bro you play. That is one of the things I didn’t like so much about Broforce.

You are simply given a character. When you rescue a prisoner of war, or when your character is killed, you will be switched to a new character, so you get a chance to play all of them.

Each bro has a unique weapon that is based on the fictional character used as inspiration for the character.

The terrain in Broforce is destructible. In other words, when shooting, you can destroy the terrain and thus gain a strategic advantage.

With Broforce, you can play with your buddies. You can also cut ties with them and fight against them!

10. Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition

In Dead Nation, you find yourself in a world crippled by a zombie apocalypse. This zombie apocalypse resulted due to the spread of a deadly virus throughout human society.

You are leaving your shelter after a year of sheltering in place, because you are looking for some food and water.

You can be a female or male fighter, but your goal is to fight these zombies.

In Dead Nation, you can play with a friend, fighting zombies together, or walk down the Road of Devastation. On the Road of Devastation, you will be facing zombie hordes without any second life, so every mistake counts!

You must fight your way through the levels of the game. As you level up, you will find boxes of ammunition and weapons, which you can use to fight these zombies.

Don’t let yourself get hit by the zombies, because you will lose health.

You can attract zombies in different ways.

For some reason, zombies are attracted to vending machines, for example. They are also attracted to car alarms and grenades.

Meanwhile, as you fight the zombies, you will be making your way to a hospital on the other side of the city. Doctor Morton, a doctor you encounter who claims to be developing a cure for the virus, needs a sample from patient zero from that hospital.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are plenty of games that you can play with a friend.

The PS4 doesn’t have many shooting games in which you can play in 1v1 mode, but there are many games that support co-op mode.

In co-op mode, either in couch co-op or online, you can team up with your best friend and fight your enemies together.

This article will give you a list of the best free Android TV apps. Some of these apps may have a mix of free and premium content, but the thing that all of the apps in this article have in common is that they offer free TV.

Pluto TV has over 250 live channels and thousands of on-demand shows. It is entirely free to use.

It offers more than 100,000 hours of content. Pluto TV is supported by ads, which is how it is able to afford to have legal contracts with different companies to offer free streaming.

The ads are shown in breaks during programming, sort of what you would expect to see on cable TV.

From Criminal Minds to The Walking Dead, you can find all of the popular shows on Pluto TV.

It also has over 45 channels in Spanish, making it perfect for Spanish-speaking households and those who would like to practice their Spanish.

2. ZEE5

ZEE5 is a free app for streaming live television. It has thousands of TV shows and movies and hundreds of ZEE5 Originals.

Most of the content on ZEE5 is entirely free to use. Some content requires a premium subscription, such as premium ZEE5 Originals and other premium content.

ZEE5 Originals are original movies that can only be found on ZEE5.

Another cool thing about Tubi TV is its wealth of international content. From exciting Bollywood classics to Naruto to K-pop, those who want a bit of a different cultural twist can get their fix.

Create an account to track your watch history, create playlists, and get personalized recommendations on things to watch.

4. PBS

With the free PBS app, you can stream content on demand and watch live shows from your local PBS station, right on your phone. However, for legal and licensing reasons, the content that is available on the app depends on your local station, and you must also be near a local PBS station to stream.

A premium membership is available for users located near some PBS stations. It’s called PBS Passport, and it only requires a small monthly donation, which varies from station to station.

PBS Passport gives you access to exclusive shows and movies that are not available to non-paying members.

In any case, there is a lot of content you can watch on PBS. From documentaries to dramas, you will never be bored if you have the PBS app.

Whether you want to watch movies, breaking local and global news, indie shows, or other content, PBS has it all.

Peacock Premium is the premium version. It gives you access to the full library and live sports, as well as WWE Premium Live Events like WrestleMania. Some of the live sports available with Peacock Premium include PGA Tour and Premier League matches.

There is yet another plan called Peacock Premium Plus, which removes ads and allows you to download titles for offline watching. It also gives you access to your local NBC channel around the clock.

9. ABC

The ABC app has plenty of live TV for you to watch. You can watch 24/7 live channels for free, including the 20/20 Live channel, without even creating an account or signing in.

However, it would be best if you did create an account with ABC. Creating an account will allow you to track your watching history and sync your preferences across your devices.

Other live TV shows available on ABC include Good Morning America, the nightly world news from ABC, and live sports. Much of the content, not including the free TV, requires a subscription with a cable TV provider to sign in and watch.

10. Amazon Freevee

Amazon Freevee is an app from Amazon that offers free TV streaming. It features thousands of TV shows, movies, and live channels that stream news and entertainment around the clock.

You don’t need a credit card. All you need is an Amazon account with which to log in, after which you will be able to watch all of the content on Freevee for free.

12. Fandango at Home

Fandango at Home is an app that allows you to watch thousands of free TV shows with commercials.

There are over 250,000 titles to watch, including many that are in 4K UHD video quality. New shows are added all the time.

Some of the shows do require a subscription or must be rented out, but as mentioned, there are thousands of free titles as well. You can even download movies and watch them offline.

13. STIRR

STIRR is an app from Thinking Media that allows you to watch over 100 free TV channels. Whether you want to watch local or global news, you can do so.

From sports to weather, you can watch all sorts of live news updates on STIRR.

Not only that, but STIRR also features tons of movies and TV shows. There are action movies, investigative news reports, drama, classic series, and sci-fi movies.

14. NBC

On The NBC App, you can watch live TV for free! Some of the content that is available for free includes episodes and clips from popular TV shows like Law and Order, Chicago PD, and America’s Got Talent.

If you have a subscription with a TV service provider, you can link your account to watch NBC Live Stream, including all the shows that it has to offer.

New episodes of popular shows on NBC are recorded and available for streaming on demand as soon as the day after they air.

You can also stream shows from Bravo, Oxygen, and other popular networks live.

15. FreeTV

FreeTV is an aptly named app that offers TV shows at no cost. You can watch TV, live, without paying.

Popular movies and TV series are available in both English and Spanish from around the world. From documentaries to popular Hollywood classics, FreeTV has it all.

Different categories are available, such as FreeTV Crime and FreeTV Drama.

16. TV5MONDEplus

If you are interested in practicing your French, try TV5MONDEplus, which is the best French language app for free TV. Both Canadian and global French news programs are available.

Over 7,000 hours of programs are available at no cost, from detective films to thrillers to comedy. There are also programs from channels such as Télé-Québec and Radio Canada.

Podcasts are available, too.

Subtitles are available in English and Spanish to help you follow along if your French is not yet perfect.

Conclusion

There’s no need to pay for expensive cable subscriptions or memberships with online TV providers when there is a plethora of options available for free.

My best advice would be to download several of these apps, since the content varies from app to app. That way, you can find all of the best content for free without paying.

If you only download one of these apps, it might not have the specific channel or shows you are interested in. By diversifying, you can access the largest selection of free content at no cost.

One of the most common interview questions you will get is, “tell me about yourself.” While not technically a question, this is one of the most loaded interview prompts you will have to respond to.

It’s common for interviewers across all industries and positions to ask this question. It’s also one of the most difficult questions to answer, especially if you have no experience.

It’s not a yes or no question. Not only that, but it can sometimes be challenging to figure out exactly what the interviewer is looking for and which response will be the best.

And, if you have no experience, it can feel even more daunting. You might not know where to start or what to talk about.

Don’t worry, though. In this guide, you will learn all that you need to know about answering this question.

After reading this guide, you will be able to confidently respond to “tell me about yourself” without hesitation, even if you have no experience.

Quick Summary

If you don’t have any experience, here are some things to talk about when answering the question of “tell us more about yourself”:

  • Talk about your education, including self learning
  • Talk about projects or volunteering experience you have done
  • Discuss your skills, including skills used in other situations which are transferable to your scenario
  • Talk about your career goals
  • Mention your passion and motivation

Above all, be confident. Practice answering this question several times before your interview, and you will get the hang of it in no time!

To better answer this question, though, you first need to understand what employers and hiring managers actually want with this question.

There are a few things employers are looking for when asking this question. Here are some of the things an interviewer might want to hear in your response.

Whether You Are Passionate

One thing that is bound to come out when you answer this question is how passionate you are about the topic, job role, or industry.

For example, if you are applying for a position as a junior developer, your passion will inevitably rise to the surface when you talk about how you got into software development and why you wanted to be a developer.

If you aren’t passionate about software development and just made it through college or your bootcamp while hanging by a thread, you won’t be waxing on about software engineering with passion.

Your passion and motivation will be crucial in your job role, which is why employers ask you this question.

Whether You Possess Self Awareness

Another crucial factor that will become evident in your response is how self-aware you are. Are you aware of your strengths and weaknesses?

Are you able to objectively determine what you are good at and what you are lacking? When you talk about yourself, including your educational journey, you will have an opportunity to reflect on the weaknesses you noticed and what you did to address them.

That will show employers that you are self-aware and able to accept feedback and constructive criticism, which are all crucial qualities for job success.

Whether You Are a Fit for the Company Culture

When you are asked to talk about yourself, employers want to see if you will be a fit for the company culture. A lot of your perspectives on the industry and life in general will come out when you talk about yourself.

In addition, your work ethic and enthusiasm will become apparent. Many companies look for such qualities when assessing whether you would make a good fit for the team.

That’s also why it’s important to research the company culture before your interview. It will help you answer the question in a way that makes it appear as if you make a good fit.

Whether You Have Confidence and Problem-Solving Skills

In addition, your response will indicate how you approach problems and how you go about solving them. When you talk about yourself, it’s natural to talk about the obstacles you have faced and how you overcame the challenges that were presented to you in life.

The confidence in how you approach problems, and the confidence in which you answer this question in general, will have a decided impact on the interviewer’s impression of you.

A good problem solver is not afraid of problems and obstacles but rather embraces them head on, with confidence.

How to Answer the Question “Tell Me About Yourself” When You Have No Experience?

So, how can you answer the question “tell me about yourself” when you have zero experience to speak of? Here are some things you can talk about.

Talk About Your Education

Most likely, if you have no experience, you are applying for a new grad or entry-level role. Some grads may have internship experience, but not all grads manage to find internships during their studies, and that’s okay.

Instead, talk about your education. For example, if you took courses that are relevant to the job requirements, or if you opted to take electives that are relevant, talk about them.

Discuss what you learned in those classes, the types of assignments or essays you had to submit, and the grade you achieved.

Don’t omit self learning!

A common mistake is to only mention university studies. However, if you did self learning on the side, you should definitely mention them as well.

Whether it’s an Udemy course, a bootcamp, a training event, or even self learning on YouTube, mention any self learning you undertook that is applicable to the job.

Self learning shows that you are motivated and passionate about the topic. It demonstrates that you are willing to go beyond what is required of you.

Instead of doing the bare minimum, you sacrificed your spare time to enrich your knowledge. It shows dedication and, above all, that you enjoy the topic – otherwise, you wouldn’t spend your leisure time on it.

If the self learning resulted in a certificate or certification, make sure to highlight that. An example could be CompTIA’s A+, Net+, and Sec+ certificates, which are relevant to the IT (Information Technology) field.

Example

“During my computer science studies, I studied data structures and algorithms and Python in school. I also learned C++ and C#, which were not covered by my university. I also attended an online bootcamp to brush up my frontend and backend skills, earning a full-stack developer certification in the process from [bootcamp name].”

Discuss Past Projects

If you did any projects related to the topic, even if it’s not actual work experience, mention them as well.

For example, many college courses require you to do projects. Going back to our example of software engineering, most computer science degrees will require you to do things like build a web app, design a database, and complete other projects.

Of course, university projects are the bare minimum. Ideally, you will have projects that you completed in your free time, such as building a game in Python.

For IT, you might have built a home lab or written security audit reports.

However, even if you only have university projects under your belt, it’s better than nothing.

In addition, if you took part in hackathons, group meetups on the topic, or other projects with fellow students, mention them.

Example

“During the last summer break, I took part in Google’s Summer of Code. I worked with other developers to contribute to important open-source projects that make the world a better place.”

Mention Volunteering Experience

In addition to university and personal projects, you may have volunteering experience under your belt.

Volunteering experience does not exactly qualify as work experience. That’s because it’s missing many elements of the skills that are required to work in a company.

For example, when you volunteer, you can usually decide how many hours you put in and work at your leisure, since you’re not getting paid for it. You also don’t have a manager breathing down your neck; it’s typically more easy going, since they are just happy that you’re contributing.

Nevertheless, it can still showcase your skills. It also shows how passionate you are about the topic, since you are willing to devote your time to working for free.

Finally, it demonstrates that you have the right ethical convictions and are willing to contribute your time and effort for the greater good.

Example

“I helped my local church set up and secure their IT systems. I applied my skills in networking and served as a support point for church staff who needed help with their computers.”

Talk About Your Career Goals

Don’t just talk about your past, though. It’s a good idea to talk about your future plans as well.

For example, what are your career goals? Why did you apply for a role at this company?

To answer that latter question, you will need to do a bit of research about the company before your interview.

Another question you might want to answer is where you see yourself in a few years. Even if the interviewers don’t ask that question (and they often do), you can talk about it when asked to speak about yourself.

Example

“While currently applying for help desk, I would like to advance from there. In a few years, I see myself becoming a network administrator/system administrator. Eventually, I would like to transition into cybersecurity, starting by becoming a SOC (Security Operations Center) analyst. To that end, I am currently working on obtaining relevant certifications, such as Sec+ and Pentest+.”

Delve Into Your Life Trajectory

When asked about yourself, you can just literally talk about yourself, including how you grew up and which factors influenced you to take the path you took.

For example, was there a parent figure in your life, whether an uncle or teacher, who motivated you to pursue the degree and career you choose? How did they influence you?

How did you find your path? For example, why did you choose your specific university?

Example

“I’ve always been interested in computers and tech. When I was a kid, I was already coding simple games and apps. Over the years, my passion for software development has grown, and I regularly contribute to open-source projects. My older brother was a great inspiration to me, as he is a well-known software engineer at [Company Name] and has spearheaded many important innovations there.”

Wax On About Your Passion and Motivation

When someone doesn’t have experience, recruiters will usually want them to have passion and motivation. Someone who is passionate will be able to internalize and apply constructive criticism, as well as invest in their own education.

So, talk about how passionate you are about the job. Talk about the things that motivate you.

Example

“I’m extremely passionate about software. I simply love building things, and nothing is better than the satisfaction of building a working app that can help people out in their day-to-day lives. Not only that, but even the small steps bring me great joy. The empowering feeling of implementing a working algorithm is something that I can’t describe.”

Talk About Your Skills, Including Transferrable Ones

Finally, make a big deal out of any skills you have, even if you don’t have work experience. For example, are you a natural leader?

Perhaps you were a student leader in college. While that’s not quite work experience, it does show that you have leadership skills.

It’s a skill that is transferable to any situation. If you have any other transferable skills, such as working under pressure while meeting deadlines, mention them too.

Example

“In college, I led three of my group projects. I was in charge of ensuring the project ran smoothly, that everyone submitted their work on time, and that everyone communicated with each other in a seamless manner. Despite the challenges, such as some students who didn’t seem to want to put in the work, I was able to bring the projects to completion, on time, successfully.”

Tips for Answering The Question Correctly

Don’t Memorize a Script

Don’t memorize a script. Interviewers can tell when you are simply parroting a script that ChatGPT or a friend wrote for you.

Besides, reciting a script is a mistake. It won’t allow your passion to shine through.

When you speak naturally, you will be able to speak from your heart. You will use a tone of voice that demonstrates passion, which isn’t as easy to do when simply reciting something you committed to memory.

Another thing to remember is that a script doesn’t really prepare you for questions that may be interjected. You’ll want to instead make a list of common questions you may expect and provide a few possible answers to each, so you can allow the conversation to flow freely without being stumped by anything that gets thrown your way.

There Is No Perfect Answer

Another thing to remember is that there is no perfect answer. Interviewers want to see things like your level of confidence, self awareness, and passion, as we already mentioned.

There is no single way to demonstrate this. So let the conversation flow, and don’t be stilted.

If you feel stumped, just speak. Don’t worry about giving the perfect answer; just start speaking, and the rest will come by itself.

Be Confident

Above all, be confident. Be confident in your suitability for the position and don’t second guess yourself.

Interviewers like candidates who are confident, because they will be able to approach problems confidently and tackle problems head on. It’s normal to display some signs of nervousness, though.

In fact, worrying about being nervous and trying not to look nervous is usually counterproductive, because it only makes you more nervous. Allow yourself the luxury of displaying some nervousness, as it will make your mind more relaxed and allow you to focus on the interview at hand.

Practice, Practice, Practice

Most of all, practice! The more you practice for your interview, the easier it will be when the time comes to do it in real life.

Talk to yourself in the mirror, talk to an imaginary hiring manager, have a friend interview you while role playing as a hiring manager, or use an AI chatbot that exists for this purpose. The most important thing is to get comfortable freestyling answers to questions such as “tell me about yourself.”

That way, when the time comes, you will be able to confidently express yourself, without stumbling over your words or hesitating when speaking.

Conclusion

If this is your first interview, it’s normal to be nervous, or anxious. The first interview is always nerve wracking, but believe me, it does get easier with time.

Consider it a learning experience. Don’t worry too much about the outcome, because there will be other interview opportunities at other companies.

Rather, consider it practice for future interviews. Over time, you will get more comfortable answering the question of “tell me more about yourself.”

It will even come naturally! You will no longer have to worry about being hit with that question, because answering it will be second nature for you.

Are you looking for a font on Canva that’s similar to the Spotify font?

Spotify uses a font called Spotify Circular, which is a custom version of the Circular font. Unfortunately, Spotify Circular itself requires permission to use, and it is not available on Canva.

In fact, there aren’t any versions of Circular that are available on Canva. However, Canva does have many other fonts that are remarkably similar to fonts that Spotify uses or has used in the past.

In this article, I will go over the best Spotify fonts on Canva.

Quick Summary

The best Spotify fonts to use on Canva include:

  • Proxima Nova and Proxima Nova Condensed
  • Montserrat
  • Gotham and Gotham Condensed
  • DM Sans
  • TT Norms and TT Norms Std Condensed
  • Helvetica
  • Helvetica Now and Helvetica Now Condensed

Other fonts include Helvetica World and Arial. For the full list of Spotify fonts that you can use on Canva, read on!

Invalid table id.

14 Best Spotify Fonts on Canva

1. Proxima Nova

At one point, Spotify used Proxima Nova on its website. Proxima Nova is currently available on Canva.

While Spotify no longer uses Proxima Nova, many old timers will recognize it. Newer users of Spotify might never have seen it used on Spotify, though.

Proxima Nova was created by Mark Simonson.

2. Proxima Nova Condensed

Proxima Nova Condensed is a condensed version of Proxima Nova. It is similar to Proxima Nova, but the letters are a bit squished together, and there is less white space in between the letters and words.

Proxima Nova Condensed is a good option if you want to use the Proxima Nova font but have a lot of words to fit into a small space. By using the condensed version, you can fit in fewer words without reducing the size of the font.

3. Montserrat

While not officially used by Spotify, Montserrat is similar to Proxima Nova. It is a geometric sans serif typeface, and it was inspired by posters and signs that were common in Montserrat in the 1900s.

Montserrat is a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, and the creator of the Montserrat font is an Argentinian graphic designer by the name of Julieta Ulanovsky.

4. Gotham

While Circular is not available on Canva, Gotham is. Gotham is a font that was created by Jonathan Hoefler and Tobias Frere-Jones.

Circular was inspired by the Gotham font in many ways, which is why there are some similarities. However, Spotify does not officially use Gotham.

5. Gotham Condensed

Another font that you might consider using is Gotham Condensed. It is a condensed version of the Gotham font.

That means that words are closer together. It allows you to include more words and letters of the same font size in a poster or banner of the same size.

6. DM Sans

Another font that is quite similar to Circular is DM Sans. It is a geometric sans serif font that is perfect for texts in smaller font sizes, as it allows the reader to clearly view and read the words.

It is a low contrast and wide font, which both add to its legibility. It is great for using on accessible websites.

7. TT Norms

Yet another font that is similar to Circular is TT Norms. It is a wide font that has bold and easily legible letters.

It’s great for using on websites designed for accessibility. Spotify itself doesn’t use TT Norms, but it is quite similar in many ways.

8. TT Norms Std Condensed

TT Norms might be a bit too wide for your purposes. If that is the case, you can opt for TT Norms Std Condensed, which is a condensed version of TT Norms.

Despite being a condensed font, the text is still very legible. Words and letters are clearly defined and easy to read.

9. Helvetica

In Spotify’s design guidelines, in the section about fonts, Spotify recommends a number of fallback and default fonts to use when you can’t use Spotify Circular or other Circular fonts.

One of these recommended fonts is Helvetica. It is available on Canva, although it is a premium font and not available for free. You can access this font by signing up for the Canva Pro subscription, which provides over 3,000 premium fonts, along with other perks.

You can also sign up for a free trial of Canva Pro, which will allow you to try out Canva Pro for 30 days. If you only need to use a Spotify font once or twice, you can take advantage of the free trial offer to create your designs. You can then cancel before the 30-day trial expires to avoid paying.

The Helvetica font is one of the most famous sans-serif fonts. It was created back in 1957, and it has retained its popularity ever since then.

10. Helvetica Now

Another typeface that Spotify recommends as a fallback font is Helvetica Neue. Canva offers Helvetica Now, an upgraded version of Helvetica that was designed to offer more flexibility than Helvetica Neue.

While it is a newer version than Helvetica Neue, it is mostly the same thing. As opposed to Helvetica Neue, it was adapted for three types of displays instead of just one.

11. Helvetica Now Condensed

If you are looking for a condensed version of Helvetica Now, you can use Helvetica Now Condensed. It is essentially the same thing as Helvetica Now, but the letters will be spaced closer together.

Despite being condensed, it is still fairly legible and allows for larger text sizes.

12. Helvetica World

While the Helvetica fonts on Canva are all premium fonts, there is one Helvetica font on Canva that is free to use: Helvetica World.

Helvetica World is very similar to Helvetica Now and also quite similar to the original Helvetica. Many people will not even recognize the difference between Helvetica Now and Helvetica World due to the striking similarities between these two types of fonts.

13. Helvetica Now Display

Helvetica Now Display is one of the three versions (Micro, Text, and Display) of the Helvetica Now font.

The Helvetica Now Display font is best for when you want to create larger posters or display-sized banners as opposed to web-based text. It is a bit wider and more legible than the standard Helvetica Now on Canva.

14. Arial

Arial is actually another standard fallback font that Spotify recommends using. While Spotify itself does not use Arial, it is similar enough that Spotify recommends it.

It is one of the most popular sans-serif fonts and one of the most popular fonts in general. Its popularity is driven by the fact that it is included by default on Windows ever since Windows 3.1; macOS includes it by default as well.

Furthermore, many word editing programs, like Google Docs, also have Arial as a supported font. Actually, it is the default font on Google Docs.

Conclusion

Spotify’s font is Spotify Circular, a customized version of the Circular font that is unique to Spotify and requires branding permission to use. Circular itself can be found elsewhere, but Canva does not offer it.

Nevertheless, Canva offers several fonts that are similar to Circular, such as Gotham, which served as an inspiration to Circular. In addition, Canva offers Proxima Nova, which is a font that Spotify has used in the past, although it no longer uses it now.

Finally, Canva offers several fallback fonts that Spotify recommends, such as Helvetica and Arial.
